Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. We love creating with paper and love to share our ideas with you in hopes of inspiring your creativity. Today we are CASEing a demonstrator.
I chose to case my upline, Debra Harrison. She created a cute lollipop candy holder by recycling ribbon rolls. You can go here to see her project and video.
I have the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set and have not played with it yet, which allowed me to do so. I thought the lollipop would be cute as a tree ornament. I stamped the house in Sweet Sorbet, the Mango Melody windows, and the Parakeet Party door. I used tissue paper from a stash I have. The trees are die-cut from Evening Evergreen. I used the snowfall puff paint for the roof, chimney, windows, and door. I added some gold ball rhinestones to the trees. Using the rectangle dies, I cut out of Basic White and stamped the sentiment in Tahitian Tide and using a glue dot added to the circle that was die cut from Parakeet Party. I tied it off with an iridescent ribbon. Not shown in the pictures is the hanger. I used the same iridescent ribbon for the hanger. Now, let us hop on over to Angie McKenzie.
As soon as I saw the Storybook Gnomes Suite, I knew it would be on the top of my wish list. Who can resist these gnomes? Here is a look at the suite of products.
With the Storybook Suite you will get:
- Kindest Gnomes Cling Stamp Set-9 stamps
- Gnomes Dies-16 dies
- Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper-12 sheets, 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
- Balmy Blue & White 3/8″ Double-Stitched Ribbon- 5 yards
- Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems- 160, 40 each of 4 colors, Calypso Coral, Pacific Point, Pale Papaya, and Pool Party in 2 sizes- 4 and 5 mm
- Snowfall Accent Puff Paint- 29.5 ml bottle
I knew this was an “I have to have this suite!” moment. The first thing I thought of when I saw the dies I thought, “Looky, we can build a gnome!”
For my October’s Lattes and a Card Club, I am featuring the build a gnome. The first card I created was inspired by my frog gnome. I think he is the most adorable card! Do you think so too?
Want to create this card? Below is more information on him and a few others.
Thanks for stopping by! Now, let’s hop on over to Melva Peters to see what her favorite is.
