Stampin’ Up! is challenging us to share our moments of what inspired us to become a part of the Stampin’ Up! family.
There are many reasons I love Stampin’ Up! I love the connection we have, whether it is in person, online, or through email. I have always loved creating things for my friends, family, and for myself. I have dabbled in crocheting, ceramics, woodworking, macrame, and stamping. I also love that my daughter shares my passion for creating.
I first started stamping in the early 2000s and I was hooked. My very first stamp set from Stampin’ Up! was a Native American stamp set called Dream Catcher. Still my favorite!
I was a demo for 5 years and was unsure where I wanted to go with it. I then became disabled and once I had taken care of myself, I decided I wanted to take Stampin’ Up! a step further. In order for me to do that I had to step away a bit and find someone who could help me with my style. I found Debra Harrison. She and I clicked and I am so grateful to have found her.
I have met many people along the way and a few have become lifelong friends. I love that we help each other out. We do not look at each other as a competition. We give each other hope and encouragement. We rally together in person and online when Stampin’ Up! has events, we really have bonded through the pandemic. Sara and Shelly have shown us that anything is possible, we do what we love and share it passionately. I thank God for bringing me into a new family, he knew what I needed.
