Welcome to a new year and to new blog posts for Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. The new mini catalog is packing a lot of punch this time around and I hope you have looked through it, if not or you need a catalog, email me at email@example.com and I will send you one. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is seeing the catalog before it goes live to the public.
As I started looking through the catalog there were so many new and fresh appealing items, one of those is this darling Hello Ladybug Bundle with a matching punch on page 20 #157699 $32.25.
If you are like me, you may have some leftover DSP from the holiday catalog and wonder if you should pack it away for next year or try and use it. I chose to try to use it. After looking through the DSP, I chose to use the Gingerbread and Peppermint DSP.
I found this cute fun fold card called:
Fold Back, Pop-Up Card
(There is a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers for this.)
This card turned out better than I expected and it is a non-traditional Valentine. I love the spring feel vibe this card brings. Who would have thought this Christmas DSP would look great for a spring Valentine card!
Here is the inside of the card. If I changed one thing about the card is that I would have put the DSP over the center section so you are not seeing the overage. Let’s now head on over to Linda Moore’s blog and see what she has created for us:)
Now let’s hop on over to the next blog and see what is the next creation.
